Mountain Top Quilters recently hosted the first Arizona look at the 52-quilt traveling show of small quilts which make up the "Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece" exhibit. Ami Simms, founder and curator of AAQI, spoke of her experiences with her mother's Alzheimer's journey, an emotional and poignant look into the caregiving and heartbreak necessitated by this disease which so dramatically changed their lives.
The following pictures are of visitors viewing the show, as well as several of the quilts on display, and are used with Ami's permission.
