Small quilts have been hanging at the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Information Office for over a year as a way to publicize that there are active quilters' guilds in the Prescott area. Both Mountain Top Quilters and Thumb Butte Quilters are named, as well as contact names and phone numbers.

Joan Carrell and Carolyn Edwards have been coordinating this effort. Quilts will be replaced with new ones about every two months.

Currently hanging are quilts belonging to Hazel Karetov, Joan and Carolyn.

Here are two quilts that prove how much we love Small Quilt Auctions! The larger red/white/blue one belongs to Joan, who purchased it at Lonesome Valley's Small Quilt Auction. It was made by Hazel Karetov! The smaller one, red/white/black, was purchased by me at the Des Moines Area Small Quilt Auction in October of 2010.
