E   Education - promoting the knowledge of the art of quilting
C   Challenge  - learn new techniques and patterns
H   Help  - assistance with quilting questions and problems from experienced quilters
O   Opportunity - a chance to share and teach skills and knowledge
S   Social -  meet new people and visit with friends

The ECHOS program is offered to Mountain Top Quilters members during the afternoon following the general meeting.  Instruction in different techniques or information on how to do various projects is presented.  The classes are usually taught by an MTQ member free of charge or for a nominal fee to cover the cost of supplies incurred  by the instructor.

ECHOS was devised by Evelyn Russell in 2003. She and Jimmie Johnson continue to chair this important MTQG activity.

Upcoming Workshops:

Joan Carrell will teach fusible machine applique in August

Lorraine Owens will teach self portraits in fabric at a future workshop

We are open for more ideas from you - what would you like to learn or teach?

A beginner's class could be started if there is enough interest
- Contact Evelyn Russell or Jimmie Johnson if you would like this class
