The TOAD Project - Finished 2011

Presented by Kay Denny, self-proclaimed Queen of the Toads

Mountain Top Members! Come one, come all --- you are "toadily" encouraged to participate in the February TOAD Project. What's a TOAD you ask? It's a Treasured Object Almost Done --- definitely NOT to be confused with a Trashed Object abandoned in Despair (and don't we all have a few of these?) Dig out TWO unfinished quilt projects that you need encouragement to complete --- and bring them to the February 15th general meeting.

You will show your TWO TOADs to the guild, telling us a little background on each (such as when you began the project, what kind of quilt it is, why you haven't gotten "a round tuit.") Then the whole guild will vote on which TOAD you are to complete by the February 21st, 2011 meeting. (Because of a "snow out," this was moved to May 16th instead!

Those finishing their TOAD in the allotted 365 days will get a little toady reward and will then participate in drawings for Grand Prizes, hand-picked by none other than the TOAD Queen herself (who just loves spending somebody else's money on quilty things).
